I've got a problem with my new G580 2698.
After installing Win7, I can't access BIOS. When I'm pressing F2, nothing happens - I even tried all those other fancy things like pressing/holding B and many other ways. I simply can't. There's no "Please wait" or anything.
OneKey Rescue System boots system normally into Win7. Also there's no "setup" entry or anything other than Diagnostic Splash in the F12-boot menu's "Apps"-section.
This is bad because it hinders me to boot anything in UEFI-mode. Everything else kinda works (got a running Win7 machine).
Is there a way to reflash the BIOS? It's the 62CN42WW one. Maybe that will solve my problem? Also any other hints are welcome.
Thank you and good day

hi Astfgl_ ,
Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
I have read an article about BIOS setup issues from the Lenovo Support site,
Here is the link,
1. Try to remove the hard disk and do a reset by draining the power (press power button for 10 seconds without battery and AC adapter).
2. Try to enter bios using F2 key.
If you are successful in entering the bios, Load up Bios default settings by F8 key within BIOS. Connect the Hard drive back and check again if you are able to access BIOS by pressing F2 key.
If the steps above didn't fix the issue, Bios will need to be re-flashed.

Well, I have experience in flashing and "handling" BIOS. My problem at the moment ist "just", that I can't access BIOS. Everything else works for me. Like I said, I would love to reflash BIOS, but there's simply no BIOS-file and/or update for my machine.
