For as long as I remember my Lenovo G580 would randomly stop recieving an internet connection from my wifi, leaving it still connected but without the ability to go online. I have been solving this problem by disconnecting and recconecting from the wifi, however this has been a temporary solution as the problem keeps coming back. I know this is a problem with the computer because it never happens with the other lenovo laptops in the house nor the phones connected to the same wifi.
Im monitering this post so if you reply expect a response very soon
Thank you for the help

Hi @LA314 ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
You may try unchecking power saving features on WLAN properties under device manager and likewise place any similar roaming aggressiveness / tendency to highest .
Update us how it goes.
I found a checked box that said something along the lines of "Turn this device off to save power" and unchecked it. However I'm not sure what you meant by placing "any similar roaming aggressiveness / tendency to highest ." If you could elaborate that would be great and I will begin testing how the connection holds up with this new change.

Hi LA314 ,
As you go to the device manager and do a right click on the WLAN device for properties , there is also an advance tab that you can customize but not all wlan card have same description of any roaming features (aggressiveness/ tendencies / trasmit power) that can change how signals are received and brodcasted .
Since most likely it would be on a default , you can customize it or just leave as is since its a recommended preset by the wlan manufacturers . With Power management maintained not to turn off on this device , I suppose this would do the job .
