Not having Fn F6 to disable the touch pad is a most annoying problem on my G780. Had to do a windows 7 (64 bit) clean install a couple of months ago. After selling me Windows 7 discs Levono support has been zero help. I have a wireless mouse connected to a USB port and the only way I can disable the touch pad is to bring up the Mouse Properties window. I reinstalled the 0qto10ww.exe mouse driver a couple of time. ANY suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
Can you share if under the mouse properties, the last tab, What touchpad is installed on your system
Synaptics or ELAN?

This should be done on a WIndows 7 System.
If this check box does not exist,
Follow this step
Open a Blank notepad
Copy the text below on it
Save the file as mouse.reg
Now double click it, to import it into the registry.
Open the Synaptics settings again and your should have the checkbox above
Let me know your findings
