Go50-80: Battery 80% Available (Plugged In, Not Charging) - Energy Management Feature

I have no idea why or how to correct it. Previously, my battery had been discharging very quickly.

Re: Go50-80: Battery 80% Available (Plugged In, Not Charging) - Energy Management Feature

Hi Stoney68 ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Would it stop charging ar 80 %?

If your power setting is set at conservation mode then it would normally limit charging thus one way to extend battery life. But how about changing the setting to high performance on the Energy Management tool.

Then check on options of calibrating the battery using gauge meter in the Energy Management tool .

Update us how it goes.

Regards

Re: Go50-80: Battery 80% Available (Plugged In, Not Charging) - Energy Management Feature

I messed up when I posted before. It's stuck at 56%. I saw that the energy management feature is new for win 10 as in last week and was probably upgraded on my machine then. That's why I hadn't seen that before I would guess. I dl'd the energy management driver last night and now I have a new battery status indicator to boot. Guess I'll just have to not worry about it being stuck at 56% as it's apparently normal now. Thanks for your input.
