My hardware scan on my laptop found an error in the Storage Devices section; the Targeted Read test and the SMART Short Self test and Drive Self test both failed. It gave me an error code and told me to make an e-ticket, but the link they gave me only goes to Lenovo's home page, I think because my 1-year warranty expired two months ago. Is this something I can fix, or as far as function goes, something I need to be concerned about? If it's affecting my computer, I can't tell how.
My other issue is that, after upgrading to Windows 10, I get a notification that they can't find the license information for my AMD Quick Stream every time I turn my laptop on. Any fixes for that?

Hi Sata ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
S.M.A.R.T. errors are early warning notification created to alarm users to back up their files for a probable harddrive failure expected in the near future as it falls below the standard epected levels of performance set by harddrive manufacturers . (click on link for related references)
Some tools may be able to augment it but reliability would still be minimal in case that SMART fails.
As the issue progress, it would show symptoms of slow performance / freezing and BSOD.
With regards to AMD Quick Stream on WIndows 10 since its an AMD feature , best to check it with the manufacturer support for best option as reported by other AMD users .
Hope this help answer your query.

I recently bought a used T410, and hardware scans return the same 2 failures that Sata reported, so thank you for the explanation. Am I right in assuming that the only fix is a new hard drive? (Now would be the time, since I don't have anything loaded on the machine.)

Hi Gardener28 ,
As we have isolated deteriorating hard drive, it would also be worth while to create a recovery media while we still can and perform needed back up.
