After my unit restarts, the drivers is gone and display "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter"
I tried to install this drivers based on Lenovo websire:
And both installer hangs when on "Detecting graphics hardware"
I tried to UNINSTALLALLGRAPHICSDRIVER.jpg (incude Intel graphics driver) and reinstall them (first the intel graphics driver: Intel Onboard Graphics Driver for Windows 7 (64-bit) - Lenovo G470 and G570) and the problem still exist.
I tried to manually update the driver using the *.inf file and it failed.
i tried to reinstall them all in safemode. still failed.
I'm hopeless right now, can someone help me?

Day 1 having no support.
I can't conclude that the onboard video card is dead, if it's dead, the OS shouldn't not detect it. Also lubuntu detect my onboard graphics card (but can't install because of livecd limitation)

Please recall that this is a peer-to-peer support community, where members share their knowledge and experience with Lenovo products and services with one another. It is not a dedicated and staffed Lenovo support channel, as is stated in the Community Guidelines.
With that in mind, it's quite possible that no other members have experienced what you're seeing, and so have no advice to offer. If you require dedicated Lenovo support, you'll need to contact them directly. I've included contact info below.
Hope this helps to clarify.

I have the same problem with G470, But at first I started having problems with facebook videos and some youtube videos (chrome and explorer dont display the video, just the sound). When I came back to the old video driver or if I disable the video I could watch the videos but I had problems with chrome and explorer and another general issues with the video driver so I came back again to the new lenovo video driver and just forget about watching facebook videos. But after a few days the blue screens starts and the computer turns unusable.
Now the computer is stable but I really don't know why, I will put the things I did.

I have the exact same problem as the opening post. Now I am stuck with that Standard VGA adapter. I can't even watch videos now because it lags too much. Any solutions?
I bought lenovo because the sales told me they are durable and long lasting...
