How Do You Know Which Drivers Match Your Hardware?

I have lenovo G560, model 0679 and want to update drivers for wireless network adapter, LAN adapter and graphics. But how do I know which drivers on download page match my hardware?

Here are Hardware IDs for wireless network adapter:

Here are Hardware IDs for Intel Graphics Media Accelerator:

I do not have Hardware IDs for LAN adapter because I do not see device in Device Manager due to it being disconnected but once I will connect LAN, I will know.

Teach me how to know which drivers match my device so I can update myself.

Re: How Do You Know Which Drivers Match Your Hardware?

hi Boris_yo,

Thanks for Posting!

I personally use

You will be provided by two search box Vendor and Device.

I always start with a vendor search

So on your Posted Hardware ID the Vendor ID is the four digit/character after the word VEN (PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_051014E4&REV_01)

Then youll get a Broadcom Result

In cases you got multiple result for Vendor ID search like your GMA(Graphics)

That's the time I do a device Search (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0046&SUBSYS_392017AA&REV_02)

You will then be provided with devices with that device ID then just look for the Vendor Id that matches

Hope this helps
