I recently found the Lenovo G50-80 80E503CMIH notebook on flipkart.com. It has great specs for the price tag. I noticed that the product was flipkart exclusive which means that it is only sold on flipkart, so I browsed Lenovo's website for verification of its specs but it wasn't listed anywhere. Thats when a doubt aroused about its genuinity. Can someone confirm this product to be a genuine Lenovo product? Will I be able to register the product for warranty?
Does someone have this laptop? Can anyone verify its specs? One more question - How many RAM slots does it have and is the 8GB RAM installed in one piece?

Hi surpsi ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Using the machine number /model from the Parts lookup page shows it is valid :
Notebook LN G50-80 I5 8G 1TB Machine Type - Model 80E503CMIH
with 11202082 M471B1G73DB0-YK0 25nm 8GB DDR3L 1600 MEMORY , but take note that the price may be cheaper since it doesn't have Windows 8.1 preload on it.
16GB max / PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3L, non-parity, dual-channel capable, two 204-pin SO-DIMM sockets.
So to compare the ones on flipkart from the listed variants from the store shows that the 1 x 8GB RAM installed on one slot that can be upgraded with another similar 8GB stick to max it to 16 GB. This variant only have free DOS OS instead of Windows 8.1 .
Once you have the machine with the serial number , you can double check it from the warranty page .
