Lenovo 80ES Bios no Advanced tab :(

Hi, I have a 4 years old Lenovo (I think B30-50) 80ES and I want acces Bios Advanced tab to dedicate more ram to video processor. I have acctualy 8gb Ram (4 default).
Bios Version: Legacy
OS: Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit
I don't think CPU is important, anyway it is 2.19 ghz x2 core - x64

Please tell me a method to enter Bios and have unblocked Advanced tab.

Have a good day !

Re: Lenovo 80ES Bios no Advanced tab :(

Hi Ruben_,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Model 80ES for B50-30 machine do not have advance tab available as an option to change dedicated ram as with most of the Idealine B series so there would be no method to access it for users.

Modding the BIOS is also not recommended as this may post risk of bricking the board.

Application that require more VRAM may still run on minimum setting.

I hope this helps answer your query.

Regards

Spidey is right, the idea line of notebooks (consumer level) lacks the advanced settings that are present in the Gaming and Business notebooks. This is to keep the notebooks running at factory set levels of performance and stability.
