I got stuck in the Windows 8 update loop and had to restore my computer to factory settings. When this happened to me a year ago I just updated to windows 10 and had no problems. So I got out of the windows 8 update loop by restoring to factory settings then downloading windows 10. Windows 10 installed then restarted my computer. Now my computer is stuck on the Lenovo screen with no loading circle or cursor and I cannot access BIOS.
Here's a list of the things I tried:
Ctrl + Alt + Del
F1, F4, F8 - Repeatedly tapping and Holding
Removing and replacing battery
Turning on with only AC cable and no battery
Removing DVD drive
Turning it on upside down
Removing AC cord and battery, holding power button for 15 seconds-30seconds - 40seconds and replacing power and turning on
Removing and replacing RAM
And right now I unplugged it from AC power and I'm trying to drain the battery. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know. I'm a college student my life basically depends on my laptop. This did not happen when I upgraded to windows 10 last year and i still have the same computer.

Hi there, Lauren -
Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
You can also start by flushing out all static, remove battery and AC adaptor and hold down power button for about 15 seconds.
It would help reseating the hard drive (remove and check the contacts and place it back in).
After reseating the hard drive, load back to BIOS and check if the hard drive is detected , F9 to reset defaults F10 to save and exit .
Update us how it goes.
Tap that kudos button if I helped
