This is my first time here and I will appreciated any thought on my problem. I have a Lenovo B570 and suddenly
It start to behave strangely when I power on the laptop using the battery source. With the AC power cable the laptop works fine but when I unplugged the AC cable laptop shutdown immediately and the battery is 100% charged.
Also when I select the option "best battery health" in the energy management application and then press Apply the laptop shutdown instantly (all the lights off)
Then the power button indicator light and the battery indicator light start blinking but the monitor indicator light stays off.
I have to plug the AC cable and pull out the battery to be able to turn it on again and the computer displays that windows shutdown incorrectly and give me the option to start in safe modes or normally.
Laptop was working fine with battery and one day it jus started to do this......the battery is damage or it could be something else?
thank for your help

Hello Flakko, Welcome to the forum!
It could be a faulty battery. This usually happens if the battery is not communicating with the system.
Try this step.
Power off the system. Disconnect the adapter and the battery. Press and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds (without adapter and battery). Now connect the battery and the adapter. Power on the system and check if it works fine.
Also check the battery health in the power management. If it shows as bad, exhausted, the battery needs to be replaced.
