Lenovo B570e LCD Upgrade

2016-07-06, 8:54 AM

I have a Lenovo B570e and this morning I got the crazy idea of changing the "onboard" LCD screen with a Full HD LCD. Does anyone know if there is a FULL HD screen compatible with my model?
It has an Intel HD Graphics 3000 that can handle this resolution so I was wondering if it was possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there, Emanuel-

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

As per the HMM, your laptop is very much compactable with Full HD screen, Please go through the HMM for part details. ( Page no 81 )

Update us how it goes.

The "Hardware Maintenance Manual" report only this LCD Display:

- HD LED Panel B156XW02 V2
- HD LED Panel N156BGE-L21
- HD LED Panel LP156WH4-TLA1
- HD LED Panel LTN156AT16-L01
- HD LED Panel M156NWR2 R0

and they are only HD (1366x768), I would mount a FULL HD (1920x1080) on my notebook.

As per the L1.5 suggestion, there is No part number for full HD display panel in Lenovo. However I would recommend you to contact Lenovo service center and report your findings.

Re: Lenovo B570e LCD Upgrade

I have seen that my 570e has an AU Optronics B156XW02 V2 that has a "LVDS 1ch - 6 bit 40 pin" signal interface and, from HMM, i have read that should be connected via a cable called "LA57 LCD CABLE - FRU 31048972".
Does anyone know if this cable is 1ch or 2ch? Is there a way for me to figure out what kind it is if I look at it?
