Lenovo B570e plugged in not charging

Hi,

I bought a new Lenovo B570e and have problem with battery. The battery icon says "40% available (plugged in, not charging). I tried changing options in Lenovo Energy Management, uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery and holding the power button for 40 sec after removing battery and ac adapter  but it didn't help. Any idea what to do ?

I'm running Windows 7

Hi Rakos,

I am sorry to hear that you are facing the issue with plugged in not charging.

As you have mentioned even after changing the setting in energy management the issue still persist,as this might be the issue with the battery hence I strongly suggest you to visit nearby service centre for further assistance on the issue.
