I spoke with Ken at Valcom here, which is your thinkpad repair go to guy here in Salt Lake City and the same people who did a great job on My Office Depot -Toshiba repair and those 7 dvds drives back in March of 2008.
He states: Our guys are not trained on Idea notbooks for teardowns so as not to break delicate parts. So we never have had one of these Lenovo G 770 17.3 Laptops opened up.
He did quote me a minimum of 80.00 an hour to start a diagnostic and or a repair for the motherboard.
My 3 piece accessories order arrived and I swapped out the 1st battery (laptop original) with a 2nd battery. Lets see if it charges.
5:21 pm Mountain time, battery came in with 7 % charge and is in the latop now.
7:22 pm Mountain time, battery still at 7 % charge

Mark and others....
I was told by the phone support several times that my laptop would go """"overseas"""" to be repaired. AND be gone for a few weeks, not once was I told the repair facility is in Texas, which Mark informed me of.

Semi Final Resolution:
I want to thank The Academy... oh wait.. wrong speech...
I want to thank Mark for his help.
I want to also thank Doris at Lenovo for her phone call. (just now)
Lenovo is sending me a brand new, (it is going to be built also) never fired up Lenovo G 770 17.3 Laptop to me direct from China.
Thanks guys. I knew "IBM" was still "in there" somewhere.
I will post when the replacement arrives.
Wow. . .
break out the Good Jim Beam bourbon glasses!!!
Original laptop is now on its way back to Doris.

Well the new Lenovo arrived, it IS charging properly. and seems to work fine for the past few hours.
What concerns me is that for a new laptop that was made for a replacement.....
it has some cosmetic issues I was not ready for.
one minor scratch on the face near the Mic...
and several "light dents" or waves on the face around the keyboard as well.

Thanks for the update - glad to hear that you now have a functioning system.
I'm truly sorry to hear that it arrived with the blemishes that you note. I can appreciate how these might detract from the experience. Perhaps you might weigh the scratch and any irregularity of the plastics and decide whether these are within the realm of expectation for what you initially purchased - a refurbished system sold at a discount.
We value you as a customer and want to do all we can to satisfy you, and I think providing a new replacement system demonstrates this commitment. If, after consideration, you find that you are still not satisfied with the situation, then I would encourage you to contact your customer relations representative whom you worked with on the replacement and see what other remedy may be available.
Let me know if you need help with that.

Mark, you are correct, however the NEW is what I am wondering about.
So far for 24 hours no issues, and I have 14 to 16 hour days to do, so I will be checking back via the Android phone.
You guys have been awesome in response and I will not forget it.
Maybe if someone has a "Smokin Deal on a 3 year warranty update or smoking deal on 2 more batterys.... We can call it a day on this thing
I really do like it and YOUR and Doris and the Twitter peoples support.
Do not let the Black Friday thread get you guys down.
I do appreciate the help / support.
You have earned a future customer for life.

Well I have not heard from anyone about any extended warranty or batteries.
The only thing I am wondering is how to:
Get the touchpad to be more smooth and not "stick" and go wacko
