Re: Lenovo G40-30 (Model name: 80FY) ram problem

Hi spawnsx ,

Greetings.

There are times that even if same part satisfy the specification that the BIOS may still be incompatible from its whitelist  of devices as FRU listings are placed as tested and recommended brands certified on the model specially if BIOS is the same version as currently offered from the driver support page.

This does not limit other users to still try different markets for the device as fellow members were able to share their alternate upgrade experience that is known to work.

Take time to review and check on our community at anytime for what would work best for you.

Regards
