I am using a laptop with a brand name lenovo G40-70 running with Windows 8.1. And i bought this laptop this year.
My problem is that the sound seems to hang and go "brrt". It not only happens when running youtube, it also happens with vlc, windows media player any other app that produces sound.
So when i restart it, the problem seems to go away. But it came back after several hours of using the laptop and still until now, i don't know what is causing this issue.
I want to have this checked in lenovo store however, I bought this laptop overseas, so i can't rely on warranties.
here is the youtube video i uploaded today for proof
The beeping sound Happens at 7 seconds and 19 seconds

I have updated the sound and graphic drivers but the problem persist. It is very annoying because at the same time it freezes the video. How can I solve this. Can this be solve by a software update or is this cause by a damage in the motherboard. I can't afford for my laptop to be taken away for repair because of work.

I have the same experience at my Lenovo W541 ( Intel i 7 4810MQ, Quadro K2100m, 16 gb RAM).
Have you already found a solution?
Many thanks in advance for your help!
