Lenovo G450 battery stucks at 0% and it sshows plugged in,charging

three months back I bought a new battery for my lenovo G450 laptop.Initially it was working well and now it's not get charged Stucks @0%,,,,,plz suggest me a solution for this

Welcome to the Forums.

 

Can you try to charge the battery while the computer is off (eg. for 2hrs) then observe.

 

If the battery charge is still 0% after doing the above procedure then it's likely that the battery is showing signs of failure. In this case, I recommend you check if the battery still has a warranty and check with the reseller for a replacement battery.

Thanks for reply..

I tried to charge the battery like that(when lap is shutdown) but it's not working .....It has warranty period of 1 year but the reseller direct me to lenovo service center..People at service center refused to take the battery....Please suggest me a right solution

hi paranthaman,

 

You mentioned that you purchased a new battery for the G450 system. To replace this battery, you will need to contact the person or the store that sold you this battery (eg. If you purchased it from Amazon.com, you will need to contact Amazon) as the battery can only be replaced from the place of purchase.

I purchased it from flipkart.com.I've contacted them, they said replacement period is over(3months) but your product has 1 year warranty so contact lenovo service center. afterthat I went to lenovo service center but they refused to take my battery and direct me to complaint lenovo.com or customercare. Is there any possible way to get solution??
