The caps lock and mumber lock on-screen indicators are on when prompted (when caps lock is enabled as well as when the number lock is enabled), but I'm not a big fan, so I wanted to get rid of it.
The usual instructions to rid of the indicator is:
1. Right-click on desktop -> Screen Resolution
2. Click on Advanced Settings
3. Click on On Screen Display tab
The problem is that my Advanced Settings in the screen resolution menu does not have an "On Screen Display" tab. It only has an Adapter, Monitor, Color Management, and AMD Catalyst Control Center tab, which I'm assuming pertains to my specific laptop series.
I really have tried nearly everything and have not found a fix. I'm assuming it has nothing to do with having Windows 8, bur rather it's a Lenovo setting that I have to uncheck somewhere.

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
Can you try, Opening Control Panel>Program and Features>Uninstall a Program
try looking for Caps OSD or Lenovo OSD
If you found one Uninstall it.
Let me know your findings

Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, I took a look at all the programs under "Uninstall a program" and there was nothing concerning "Caps OSD" or "Lenovo OSD" or even the keyword "OSD".
Any other suggestions you might have?
Thank you, again.

On Othermodels this is included on the Lnovo Energy Management or Lenovo Power Management,
Try uninstalling those on your system and check, Anyway this can be reinstalled from the Lenovo Support site download section.
