Hello, I'm sure this question have been asked countless times before but I'm in need of a replacement cable for my G50-45, 80E3 Laptop and I can't afford ordering an uncompatible kind.
I've been looking at some models and if i understand it correctly; all I need is a charger that outputs 20v 2.25A. Does the wattage matter in this or can i pick anything from 40 to 90W? I found some chargers online and was thinking, are these compatible with my G50-45?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Community Forums.
It is recommended that you choose an OEM charger using the specific part number to avoid risk of damaging the laptop and other safety reasons.
Here is an article guide on how to choose one:
Aside from those listed in the hardware manual (page 87), use your serial number here in the parts lookup page would give you the part number of the AC charger (under commodity list) along with its substitute.
The article linked above also shows possible place you can get it as OEM parts would guarantee both compatibility and safety with its one year warranty.
I hope this helps answer your query.
