Lenovo G50-45 bootup and hotkeys problem after installing ssd with windows 10

Hello. I recently installed windows 10 on a new ssd and i have a problem with slow bootup time. It takes about 30seconds to boot and almost the same time to close down. More specifically, in bootup, after the BIOS a black screen appears for many seconds and then the windows login screen. When i shutdown, the windows terminate in 2 seconds and a black screen appears for 10seconds after that until it terminates. I installed all the latest drivers from AMD and i can't understand why this happens. Also the hotkeys don't work at all, although they are enabled in BIOS. So, what can i do to boost it and be able to work with the hotkeys?
My specs are:
Lenovo G50-45
DualCore AMD E1-6010, 1347 MHz (13.5 x 100)
Motherboard Name  :  Lenovo Lancer 5B2
Video Adapter:    AMD Radeon(TM) R2 Graphics  (1 GB)
IDE Controller :   AMD SATA Controller
DMI BIOS Vendor :   LENOVO
DMI BIOS Version    A2CN25WW(V1.07)

Hello Markip

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Are you complaining about a 30 second boot time?

Sounds pretty normal as far as I know.

What hotkeys are you trying to use?

Let us know how you get on.

Re: Lenovo G50-45 bootup and hotkeys problem after installing ssd with windows 10

Thank you for your answer. Yes, about the boot time and mostly about shutdown time. When i close the pc, windows terminates in 3-4 seconds then a black sreen appears and then after 10 secs the laptop closes down completely. Something like windows terminates first and then the computer. I thought that with the ssd it wouldnt take more than 10secs for boot and shutdown. None of the hotkeys work which is very irritating.

Re: Lenovo G50-45 bootup and hotkeys problem after installing ssd with windows 10

Sorry, I meant that what are the hotkeys you are trying to use? What function and what combination are they meant to be?

In my experience, I never had a faster boot than about 30 seconds, so I wouldn`t really class this as an issue, but I could be wrong, my SSD is not the newest so it may be different these days, even with just a normal HDD I usually got around 1 min max.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Re: Lenovo G50-45 bootup and hotkeys problem after installing ssd with windows 10

So, apparently the combination is just F1, F2 etc. not Fn+F1, Fn+F2, so problem solved!! Only the airplane mode doesn't work but it is not something that bothers me, thanks's!
