There are two things in the exit menu. Load Default Settings and OS Optimized Defaults. Which one do I pick? Oh just to make sure. It wont wipe my hard drive by doing this, right?

What Windows version do you have originally on this machine?
It will not delete any data from the harddrive as this screen works even without any drives.
Load Default Settings
then Load OS Optimized Defaults (depending on your Windows version) then save before exiting.

Alright I did the Load Default Settings OS Optimized Defaults (windows 8 64 bit), saved and exit, put the hard drive and CD drive back in and booted it up, It was on the lenovo logo and at the bottom it said "Preparing automatic repair" then "Diagnosing your pc". After that it said something like automatic repaired failed (or something like that). It gave me two options. Restart or More Options. I clicked More Options and one of the options was to Continue (to windows 10). I clicked Continue and it went to my log in screen. I logged in and now my computer seems to be working! So should I just keep the battery out until I purchase a replacement or do you think it's safe to plug the battery back in?

Now you may take this opportunity to back up whatever is needed.
If the battery is not warm then try to place it back and to make sure that it is the battery that causes the loop.
That is if you would like to have it verified else have the battery checked further.

I tried putting the battery back in and it booted up normally. I'm not sure what caused the loop if this is now working. It might have been that power outage I mentioned in my first post.
Thank you so much for helping me out with this!

Great that it works ok now.
I would think removing the battery along with the DVD drive, harddrive then doing the default BIOS help manage Windows to complete recovery and finish up with the boot as part of its repair.
Having it with a refresh BIOS recognition to active parts installed could have helped it complete recovery as it usually does in event of power disruption when there is an active process running in the background.

I have the same problem with my G50-45 laptop but this method/solution didn't change the problem of continuous rebooting?
I did not get the notifications at the bottom of the Lenovo screen as the other person did.
Any more ideas?
