Lenovo G50-45 stuck while booting

2016-06-20, 9:56 AM

My Computer data:

Lenovo G50- 45

Win 8 already being installed

My problem:

Hey dudes,

I wanted to start my PC as always but instead of starting my GUI, windows just showed me the message that "Automatically reperation is being prepared". I used to wait but after hours the computer stayed the same. I decided to use the "onekey recovery" but instead of recovering, the computer just showed me the lenovo sign and used to load. The same procedure, I used to wait hours, but nothing changed. After that I prepared an USB device and set win 10 (64) on it and wanted to let him boot from my device. After having a lot of problems, I found a page on the internet telling me to change to "legacy" mode and to disable secure boot. Well, done that and enter with "Fn and F12" the boot menu. Selected my USB device and he is really showing me a Win 10 logo. But, and thats my problem he isnt doing anything else. He is just showing me a loading circle with a big blue Win 10 logo. I dont know what I should do next. Any Ideas around here? I've heard that a Hardware issue could be possible, isn't it? While booting, I pushed different Keys and heard one single, loud Beeping. Any ideas what I could do guys?

Would be really glad to hear from you :)

- Greetings

Hi store2273 ,

Greetings.

You can use a bootable diagnostic tool to check on the integrity of your harddrive .

Else using a rescue image can also help.

Another way to repair Windows if you manage to create a recovery image before or download an ISO to use the repair option thru it.

Update us how it goes.

Regards

Hey,

I checked the hardware with the lenovo software and it was ok. Now I'm using the AVG rescue software, but I'm not quit sure were I should scan. Where are the possibiltys for a virus? Where should I check first?

Hi store2273 ,

Greetings.

Full system scan is advised as most viruses/ malware creates startup operation on their own.

If you were able to boot back into windows :

What I usually do is first clean boot the system and disable start up programs (you can reenable / customize after )

You may also check on scheduled task if valid or not plus running sfc scannow/r on cmd admin prompt to check on the integrity of your system files.

Before any operation make sure that you have backed up your files .

Hope your were able to create your recovery media

Update us how things go.

Regards
