Lenovo G50-45 won't power on and won't charge

My laptop (g50-45) won't turn on. With the battery and charger plugged in, the charger light indicator on the laptop flashes orange and refesuses to turn on. The battery lost all charge. Without the battery, the computer's "on" indicator light flashes when pushing the power button but the computer still does not turn on. I figured it might be the charger so I got it replaced, and still no improvement. Please help!

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

 

Pro tip: Take the extra 30 seconds to unscrew and physically remove the battery --

You push the power button 10 times in a row at one second intervals. Next, you push and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then you put the battery back in and push the power button.

It did not work. Now the indicator lights will not even turn on with the battery in

Likely there could a chances of motherboard failure. If it is under warranty please call Lenovo service centres to get it replaced promptly.
