Re: Lenovo G50-70 Display Screen Flickering

Hello cagibil,

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Seems like there could some sort of short circuiting going on, try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.

(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal

If these steps do not work or you would like more info on this issue you can call your local Lenovo support line. Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Re: Lenovo G50-70 Display Screen Flickering

Hi Krakken, thanks for your reply. I've tried the solution of remove battery and hold for 30 seconds the power button, but the problem is still here.

Do you think that motherboard is broken?

Re: Lenovo G50-70 Display Screen Flickering

In addition to Krakken,

Try updating the latest BIOS.

Also, try this:

While on AC power, Desktop>Right Click>Properties>Settings>Advanced>Monitor. Here, under Monitor settings, set the Screen Refresh Rate to 50 Hertz.

Update us how it goes.

Re: Lenovo G50-70 Display Screen Flickering

Sorry Sasha_Lenovo, but, as you can see from the video, I can't enter in Windows. I'm blocked at start and I don't understand if Windows start or not.

And we're back...

Move delayed but still coming
