Lenovo G50-70 Ram upgrade

Hello Everyone,

 

I'm using G50-70 laptop, i3 processor, Machine type 80DY. I'm considering for RAM upgrade, any one please suggest compatible Ram for my system? Currently it is of 4 GB, looking for 16gb. Can anyone suggest how it can be done,and supported ram like DDR3 or DDR4 etc.

Hi MJ19,

 

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

Compatible ram is listed in your hardware manual here on page item 12 page 80.

Max is at 16 GB . Specification for the RAM is  1600MHz DDR3L (low voltage) SDRAM (PC3-12800S).

Other 3rd party option like crucial scanners are non OEM certified but should also work but best if you check the return options too just in case.

The specs are compatible.  There is no guarantee, since it is not Lenovo-branded RAM
