A hard disk partition of my Lenovo G50-70, which has a capacity of 1 TB, has been leading to system freezes for the past few days. Also, i can't copy several files from this partition to any external devices via usb. I ran a hardware scan in lenovo solution center and it failed 3 tests - targeted read test, random seek test and SMART short self test. I'm hoping to get any solutions for this from the experts here and any other users who have faced the same problem or know something about this.

Calling technical support would be able to decode error WHD01V00M-DL7W5M using specific internal tools but as it is very evident at the moment with the described performance issue , you may need to replace the harddrive.
S.M.A.R.T. test is a harddrive integrity measure to alert users to backup their files as much as they can to avoid data loss before everything breaks down and make the harddrive unbootable.
