Lenovo G50-80 Keyboard acting weird, keys dont work neither through keyboard nor on-screen keyboard

My G50-80 laptop is facing issues with keyboard.
When booted initially, only few keyboard keys work. While other keys cannot be entered, Enter key doesnt work.

At the same time, same keys dont even work from on-screen keyboard either. So I cannot even enter my password.

I can hardly login by clicking forgot my password, then again switching back to login page, suddenly keys start working!

while being logged on, same keys problem reappears, this time I again use bypass to logout and login.

Then keys start working.

Pleaseee can some one help for this issue.

My OS is windows 10.

Windows 10, filter keys are OFF. Windows trouble shooter doesnt find any required upgrade for keyboard. And moreover windows 10 is up to dat e with upgrades. I feel its not an OS issue.
Please someone help.

Try a USB keyboard to see if you get similar results.

Hi manasikol,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

In addition. make sure that you have one language preference, remove if the are two.

  • Select the Start button, then Settings  > Time & language > Region & language.

Try to use an external usb keyboard and check if you have the same issue.

Update us how it goes.

Regards
