Recently I have bought the Lenovo G500s, now I want to install a program with a DVD. But the DVD-drive doesn't work!
It has the most recent driver, Windows 8.1 does show it and it is working properly. Can anyone fix it?

I am also facing this problem. As per your solution, I have observed in my system's Device Manager that no driver is installed for CD/DVD ROM.
Could you please share the link/appropriate software to get the drivers installed.
