I have installed XP on my G550 laptop. I have all drivers installed and devices working apart from the Wireless card. I have downloaded and installed al three XP drivers listed on Lenovs Website below but cant get the card to install.
Can anyone point me to the right driver or possibly something that is stopping the card installing correctly???
|Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver|
|Intel EchoPeak WiMAX Driver||18.104.22.168|
|Intel Wireless WiFi Link Driver||22.214.171.124|

I don't own a G550 but I do have a few general suggestions:
Boot into bios.
Reset the bios to default values.
Make sure the integrated wireless switch (front of laptop) is set to "on."
Delete all of those drivers (are you sure you need all 3?)
Reboot and hopefully your wireless card is now discovered.

Let me update you as I believe you are slightly confused as to what I maybe didnt explain too well.
The wireless card of G550 is discovered under network adapters - device manager ok, but there is an exclamation mark next to the adapter showing that the card driver is not the correct one and not installed correctly.
I tried one driver at a time (not all three togegether) to try and successfully resolve the problem but the drivers will not successfully complete the installation.
Anyone tell me the driver details of the internal wireless card that comes as standard with the G550 ??????

Ah, much clearer now...
Ok, Lenovo probably offers/offered all 3 at one point in time; however, you need to figure out "which one" is installed on your particular laptop. Now, I would download the Hardware Info32 utility and see if it can identify which physical card you have and then you can proceed from there (as far as installing the correct driver, etc). Note you can download the portable version here. Just unzip it and run it with no install necessary!
