Lenovo G570 Windows 7 boot problems

2014-08-28, 7:35 AM

Hi,

I have Lenovo G570 and Windows 7 Pro installed, it's out of warranty right now and I have found a problem yesterday.

I turned off my laptop and go to work. When I came back I turned it on again and Windows freezed in middle of launching ( Microsoft's logo showed and nothing happens after ) .

I was trying to reinstall my Windows and I figured out that I can't boot it from CD-ROM ( in BIOS I have information that it's not detected ) . So I prepared USB installation version of Windows. I installed it correctly, and Windows launched properly. After install drivers ( I installed everyone at once ) the problem came back.

Do you have any ideas what's going on with my laptops. I can reinstall Windows again of course and try to not install drivers, but maby someone had the same problem as I and know the solution.

Thanks for answers .

Best Regards,

Emil

Jazzikusek,

What BIOS version are you running ? is it updated ? I would also suggest you restoring the BIOS to factory settings and updating (if not done)

Lets make 2015 the year of the #DO

I can't check BIOS version, but I never have upgraded it since I bouth it.

I fixed up the problem by myself. The solution was disconnect and connect the CD/DVD-ROM device.

Thanks for answers anyway.

Best Regards,

Emil
