I think you may have concern in this thread,
Here the suggested solution from neokenchi that helped.
1. Boot into the BIOS by repeatedly tapping F2 on startup
2. In the BIOS, navigate to the Boot Tab and set UEFI to Disabled or Legacy then press F10 to save and exit. When
the computer reboots, check if you still get the errors and/or if you're able to boot into Windows.
3. If same problem, leave the changes that you made on Step 2 and attempt to re-install Windows via a Windows 8 recovery drive or OneKey Recovery button (note that this will wipe the computer to factory settings)
Hope this helps,

I did the same thing but when i run the bios setup after the process ie. initialise flash module - read current bios. system automatically reboots and when it restarts system hangs with camera light on.
I have tried with clean installation of windows 8 64bit and lenovo drivers.

Is there any other BIOS update -- a lower version maybe -- to update my bios.

Is that correct BIOS?
Even though the title describes "BIOS Update for Windows 8 (32-bit, 64-bit) - Lenovo G480 (2688, 20156), G580 (2689, 20157)", the readme says only for G480(2688) and G580(2689).
Lenovo have to re-organize BIOS codes and indiocate clearly. Failing update can get serious consequeces!!
From the readme
Flash BIOS update - Flash from Operating System version for Windows8 Version: 62CN97WW Installation README Updated Date: 2013-08-6 This package updates the basic input/output system (BIOS) on Lenovo G480(2688), G580(2689) BIOS, abbreviati......

First, thanks for your time and suggestion.
I Found a solution for this on risky trial way, My first BIOS version was 62CN37WW_32, But when I tried to update directly to 62CN97WW_32 it gave me the above problem. But there is an another version in between these two, that is 62CN40WW_32 so first I updated to 62CN40WW_32, Its done perfect. Then I backed up the BIOS. Then I reflashed the BIOS with latest one 62CN97WW_32, perfectly installed after rebooting the system without any error, it gave a message saying installed successfully. Then after restarted I was panic, first no F2, F12 displayed at start but came a message on blackscreen saying boot ipv4 something like this, then I powered off the system and restarted and pressed F2 immediately, now it was into bios. its showing new version and the options in BIOS are changed new settings appeared, UEFI came,Previously not available, and enabled and on the exit screen at the botton there is a message saying optimized for WINDOW 8 64Bit, I changed it to OtherOS, and i changed UEFI setting to legacy and below 2 options to legacy. Then I saved the setting and restarted, Finally I got relaxed, window 7 boot screen came, and started successfuly. I searched for this topic all over internet, read several articles and downloaded several BIOS backups from a site. I tried to install 62CN97WW_32 several time, failed and restarted several times. I just downloaded another BIOS by googing 62CN40WW_32. Finally one day i tried to install this from there what I said above happened.
Thanks & Regards,

Please help me. I have been now over a month with this BIOS problem. I took my Laptop to a local workshop and they ratify is a Bios corruption but I need then the full factory bios to flash. The one in the drivers download site is only an update is not the full one. Where can I get it?
