I'm new to the forum and after a bit of help...
I have a Lenovo G580 Laptop which I purchased from eBay. I would like to run a full restore back to factory settings, but came across error messages when using the OneKey Rescue System, it turns out that the previous owner had created a new partition and I think he has deleted some or all of the recovery media.
Strangely, the laptop did not come with a recovery disk!
Does anyone know of a way I can run the restore (Without paying Lenovo for a recovery disk)?
Any help appreciated!

Welcome to Lenovo Community!
I’m sorry to hear that the OKR (One Key Recovery) is not working as expected and displaying error message. Please let me know the exact error message displayed while performing OKR and also the OS (Operating System) installed in the computer.
Hope to hear back soon

The error message is "The program cannot find the service partition. This function is currently unavailable". This happens when I open OKR and click on "System Recovery".
I upgraded to Windows 8.1 today, however, the error message was exactly the same on the pre-installed version of Windows 8.
Also, the LENOVO (D partition is showing as 22.4GB free of 24.9GB.

Thank you for your reply, this issue has occurred if the D:/ drive in the computer is formatted or any changes have made in partition. As the pre-installed OS (Operating System) is Windows 8 the only available option is to create the Recovery Drive and restore it using the below steps mentioned in the link:
