Lenovo G580 Warranty & Repair Issues

Hi, firstly apologies if this is the wrong place to post this.

I have had my G580 for around a year now, and sent it to be repaired under warranty 2 weeks ago after it suddenly wouldn't turn on. I was told by a pc repair shop that the connection between charge point on the laptop and mobo was  broken, but didn't let them attempt to repair it. Having waited a while with no response, i rang yesterday and was told that i was sent a qoute for repairs ten days ago (never received). I was also told that this qoute included parts for a new LCD screen, new card reader, and a new keyboard. These are all things that were working fine when it was sent in.

So my question is, is there any way to dispute these costs or parts? i was told they could have broken in transit, however i wrapped the unit in 2 layers of bubble wrap, and another 3 layers of cardboard. It was extremely secure. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
