I'm trying to conect 2 external monitors, so I would have 3 displays total including the built in display.
Processor: Intel Core i3 (3rd gen)
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000
Built-in display connector type: LVDS
Display ports: 1 x VGA; 1 x HDMI; 2 x USB 3.0
According to Intel this config is supported for my hardware
But, I can't get it to work with 3 displays. Only 2 displays work at any given time. Any combo of 2 displays is working, like built-in display + monitor 1 or monitor 2 + monitor 1, but a 3rd display won't connect.
So far, I updated monitor drivers and intel driver. I tried dragging and changing monitors in display setting and changing my main monitor box.
There was an old post from tech support about this suggestiong it can be done, but it was never resolved. I read the links below, but got nowhere:
From tech support:
The Lenovo G580 runs on the Intel® H76 Express Chipset as stated on this pdf data sheetwhich is capable of dual display only.
Triple display maybe possible if you have a 3rd Gen CPU and Intel HD Graphics 4000.
