Lenovo G580 laptop does not turning on

Hey, I'm currently using a G580 Lenovo laptop.
One day I played my laptop and supricely it just turned off, so I turned it on again and once I typed my password to access the PC it turned off again, so I got the battery out the PC and waited five minutes, after I got the battery back I pressed the power button and nothing happened, no lights, no noice, nothing, just not turning on. I tried to find my problem on the internet and I found a youtube video how to fix that: get your battery off with your charger, press the power button 1 minute, get back the charger into the pc and press the power button and ta-dam! It's working. Well no, I did everything and it didn't solve my problem. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Community Forums. 


Since you have performed power drain, you may proceed with the power check as described under your hardware manual (page 21).


As it should indicate led status lights or fan activity removing the battery and directly plugging the ac adapter. See if pressing the Novo button instead of the power button as it should also be an alternate on powering up the system. 


Using a known good ac adapter or checking the original charger with a voltmeter can help isolate whether issue is with the adapter itself , wall socket / strip cord , DC in port is loose or there's contact failure , power board / systemboard failure. 


Just the same, as it is a power issue calling in technical support for inwarranty repair or checking with local service center can be the next step after the power check out.
