Lenovo G580 problem on booting up

this happen when I accendentaly unplug my machine and suddenlly turned off. It turned off because there is no battery installed when I used it. Then I installed the battery and tried to turn it on again but it's giving me a random beep sound, like there's no pattern. I pressed the power button for a few seconds and it restart booting on the OS. I'm running windows 8. When it finally boot the Lenovo solution center prompt me that my battery are not genuine. It was the original battery that came along with the laptop. and I never had this problem before. I tried to restart thinking that maybe its just a glitch. Then it's giving a random beep again and not booting.


What I did was I tried to system restore, didn't fix the problem.

Tried to troubleshoot. put the battery removed the AC, same problem.

removed the battery, put back the AC nothings change.


I suspect the motherboard is fried or a part of it that has to do something with the battery.


Hope to get some response.

Open Device Manager and Open and Uninstall this Entry


Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery


Restart the system,




Without the battery connected are you having those beeps on your computer?
