If you want to have a bad equipment, choose Lenovo.
Poor hardware and client support as poor as their hardware
Few months after buying a Lenovo Laptop (one of my bests errors). i had a soucy with my battery (it held 2h instead of 4. However, i took all the precautions to take care of the battery, when it was a 100% of charge, i unplugged the laptop).
I contacted the french client support Lenovo, all they answered was to restore the computer (so to format the hard disk drive) and to call them.
Lenovo is the biggest error that the computing knew.
My rate ? 0 (as well as for quality of the laptop than for the french customers support).

Welcome to the Community Forums.
What I am led to believe about the technical supports goal on the factory reset is to immediately isolate that this is not anything affected by the software . If you are to have the same charging issue then most likely you would offer service needed by your machine specially with the battery.
Back up your files as needed and try to continue with your technican and have this issue attended as soon as possible.
Hope you both arrive on what would work best for the case in hand.

For me it is not a software problem, it is a hadware problem. I think i must simply change the battery, nothing more.
To restore the computer won't change anything. That's why I am angry against Lenovo France (If want i can post the answers i got, if you understand french ...).

Technical support on your region may need such information to allow them to process the request as part of the hardware warranty agreement as they usually have for electronic equipments.
Battery troubleshooting steps may involve several steps depending on the issue.
Try to work with them hand in hand so they can deliver the service you need as soon as possible.
If a step is not possible on your end , then inform them and ask for other options that I am sure they can provide.
Update us how it goes.
