There is an answer here https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-B-and-G-Series-Notebooks/Windows-key-G510/td-p/3444016 from one of our specialist regarding with the Showkeyplus application to gather the license key installed.

Thank you. That post deal with hard drive replacement. In my case, the mainboard is being replaced and the original key is on that board.
I have called Lenovo support but they are not able to help. If you know the proper way to get the key replaced given the situation, please let me know.
I can call microsoft, chances are they will ask me to contact product manufacturer that be Lenovo. Hope this post can help others as well because this could be a common occurance and the answers are not readily available.

Thank you Ashley.
I went through the article and typed in my serial number of G700. It recognizes the product but direct me to either this forum or premium support as the product is out of warranty.
As we are advancing in technology, one would expect that cases like this would have a reasonalbe solution as it be easier to buy a another laptop rather than going about replacing a hardware like Mainboard which unfortunatly carries this key for validation. I believe it can be done better. When support is provided for reasonalbe cases like this outside warranty, for simply replacing the key which was paid for in the first place. To my knowledge, there is no known process for backing up the bios key in case bios fails and hardware need to be replaced.
The true customer service experience comes in cases like this for product support, and the name such as IBM or Lenovo would come to mind when someone need to rely on product and perhaps use a product to its useful life as most hardware on this product would be thrown out to be recycled not meeting their useful life. This has beome the Normal Mode of Operation in today's world.
