Hi all, need a bit of advice. First of all, just a bit of background information:
I was working away one night doing some word processing and shut my laptop down for the night, turned it back on the next morning to be greeted by a start-up repair loop, I tried various things to repair this i.e. restoring system, software, security etc., running chkdsk, bootrec, etc. and nothing - OneKey Recovery would also not work. It told me something along the lines of a partition had been changed, when I have never modified the partitions on my laptop.
Long story short, nothing would work and so I have had to do a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium and this removed all of the partitions in the process - I have reinstalled all of my drivers so the sound, ports etc. are all working but of course now everything is going to be on the C: drive. Is there a way I can set it up how it used to be with a separate drive for the system and to get the recovery drive back? I am cautious about having everything on C:, even though I make backups of all my important files.
A step-by-step tutorial would be great, I managed to recover my important documents through xcopy however I am no computer expert.
Thank you for your time.

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
I’m sorry to hear that your G770 Laptop was not booting to windows and working as expected after re-installing the OS (Operating System) in the computer. Below are the steps to create Recovery Discs and also to create the backup of the data using OKR (One Key Recovery):

Or you could attempt the following procedure, it involves OKR7 Engineering DVD and re-partitioning (if you are willing to start from scratch - backup your data):
