Re: Lenovo b590 problem wi fi

hi venom13 ,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Can you describe the problems you're encountering with the Wifi Connection.

There is a Wifi Switch by Pressing Fn+F5 to turn Wifi On or Off

-Or-

get the Details of the Wireless Network like SSID and Security type and security Key and Connect to in Maunally,

Still It would be best If you could describe more about what's happening with the Wifi Connection

Best Regards

Solid Cruver

The switch is on.

In device manager it has a yellow question mark.so my guess is that  it hasnt drivers and i cant connect wireless.

Re: Lenovo b590 problem wi fi

hi venom13,

I think thats where the issue is coming from,

The B590 was sold with three different wireless configuration,

we nee to know what is your wireless device.

that yellow question mark your seeing indevice manager (we need to get the hardware id)

    > rightclick on that and choose properties

    > once in properties windows, go for the details TAB and choose Hardware ID on the selection box

    > now copy the first line that will show up that is your Hardware ID, paste it back here so we can check it,

          Ex:

Best Regards

Re: Lenovo b590 problem wi fi

hi,

Check under control panel and Programs and Features,

Look for Lenovo Energy Management / Power Management, and Uninstall that

After Uninstallation or If you don't find energy management or Power management

Proceed with Downloading and installing

  Lenovo Energy Management
cagt32ww.exe
21.3MB
