Lenovo g 50 70 - Solution to Format my lenovo laptop

Hii i just purchased my lenovo g 50 70 422418 with dos based but i cant get any screen to format my lappy with window 8.1 an error occured ipv 40 like this please resolve or give me solution as soon as possible.

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

If you're trying to load a bootable CD or USB , Here's is what you need to do.

1. Boot into the BIOS and set the following settings:

Exit Tab:

OS Optimized Defaults = Win7 OS

When finished, hit Load default settings (just right above it) then set these additional settings:

Security Tab:

Secure Boot = Disabled

Boot Tab:

Boot Mode = Legacy

Boot Priority = Legacy First

Plug in now your USB or Put your CD in

2. When finished, hit Fn+F10 to save and exit.

3. Restart the computer and start tapping F12 to pull up the boot menu, There you can select the CD/DVD or USB.

This should let you select Legacy devices
