This is my first post.
I tried to find my problem with my laptop but i did not find anything similar.
Several months ago the hinges of my laptop started to slacken. After this (warranty period expired) i opened the pc and repaired them with stronger screws. In the same time the lcd screen started to flicker. I had to move or press it to obtain the correct colours or light. So i decided to disassemble it and try to find the fault.
Unfortunalely during this operation tpouching the pcb (in the place were written "do not touch!) the screen bacame black. Using a light in the back i can see everything, so it meens that there is no more back light.
Using an external monitor the video is perfect.
I am quite sure i have to replace the LCD that was defective (i knew i had to do but i attempted to fix it temporarily) but now i am afraid i broke something in the main PCB.
Do you think a simple replacement will resolve? Do i have to control something else than the screen?
I apologize for my english, but i hope i have been able to be understood.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
A simple LCD module should fix the problem not unless that the connector port on the systemboard is broken.
For such it would be best to have it checked with a service center since they usually have LCD tester or at least spare screen to check it with.
At some cases they may even try to have the backlight fixed even if it was tightly glued on the module.
Such may be cheaper than the entire set.
Take your time to review the best option for you at the moment, After all, the machine in itself is working with any good monitor.
Hope this helps answer your query.
