Welcome To Lenovo Community
Please try removing the hard disk , then try using F2 button to enter bios .
If you are successful in entering the bios, Load set up defaults.
Connect the Hard drive back and check by pressing F2 to enter Bios
If above steps didn't fix the issue , please visit nearest service center to have system tested
Hope This Helps

I have the same problems but after installing Ubuntu and deleting windows 7 partitions.
B key not working (is bringing up the boot menu), F2 for accessing the BIOS not working, only F12.
You have to make available a BIOS update - my problem is that Windows 7 was installed using BIOS and Ubuntu was installed using EFI.
I have a G580 but if you're not coming up with a BIOS fix, I will replaced very soon.

I had the same problem with my new G580. I found that I could get the boot menu most of the time by pressing F12 very, very rapidly and the same was true for F2 and the setup menu. I have read that the rapid booting of UEFI is the cause.
