Hi JeanieGurl ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Pressing the Novo button to turn on the pc would give access to the Novo menu screen .
This would allow you to open the BIOS Set up (to check if harddrive is still detected / reset defaults F9 , F10 save and exit) that you can perform ,
Another option is the System Recovery that would launch the One Key Recovery from the hidden partition of the harddrive to perform full factory reset deleting everyting and reimaging it back the way it came from the box if you choose One Key Recovery from initial back up. If onekey recovery from user back up , it would seach for a previous created user backup to restore and would fail if backup is corrupted.
For users , it is recommended that a Recovery image should be done just in case both user backup and initial back up fails / corrupted to re image the machine with a new Windows ,
If users did not manage to create a recovery image then option for ordering it from technical support or downloading a media ISO that is similar to the original version (just like a clean installation of Windows ) .
In a non booting machine , either there is bad files or bad harddrive .
How far would it start ? Do you have important files that is needed to back up?
Have you tried windows repair ?
Update us how it goes.
Regards
