My Lenovo B50-30 suddenly shut down when I was watching a 1080p video. At first I thought it overheated so I left it a while but when I came back to it, it won't turn on.
I followed the instructions from online, like taking out the battery, pressing the power button 10 times, holding it down for 30s, removing and putting the ram back in and none of the steps worked.
When I plug the power adapter back in, there is no charging light. Does anybody know if it could be fixed or what the fault is? My laptop is over 2 years old so out of warranty and I have lots of data that's now lost at the moment.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Unfortunately, if the unit is refusing to even charge, then there is a highly likely chance that the unit is dead. It will likely be an issue with the motherboard.
See if using another charger is able to help at all, it may simply be that the battery itself died, and it was running on charger until that gave up as well.
Otherwise, if this does not help, then it will need a repair, so I would recommend that you get in touch with your local Lenovo support line for a possible repair on the unit.
Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
