Problems with B50-50 and extra Monitor

2017-10-29, 14:11 PM

Laptop: b50-50
extra Monitor: LT2423wC
connection via HDMI.
Problem: The monitor is black, only Power saving mode can be seen (sometimes).

The extra monitor was connected to a laptop V110, and everything worked perfect at once.

So, how is this?
The B50-50 has Win 10 Pro, but it was originally equipped with win 7.
Win 10 was installed by a dealer.
Could anything have been done wrong when updating to Win 10?
Or what could I do now?

Trying to install the newest driver from Intel for Intel HD Graphics 5500 (Lenovo).
It stops, telling me that the driver cannot be installed on this machine!
Driver: win64_154036.4703
Linked to: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005469/graphics-drivers.html

I also scanned my PC via Lenovo Bridge S and was recommended to download and install a VGA-driver:2tlt03af
But the same story - not compatible with the machine!

So what to do?
Test with an usb-hdmi adapter?

At this moment - I'm somewhat disappointed with Lenovo.
Of course, I would contact the dealer next week...

The cable is ok, because it all works perfect from a Lenovo V110 (but that one is not mine).
If I disconnect the cable between the b50-50 and the monitor, the message No cable connection...is displayed on the monitor. So there is contact between the pc and the monitor.

I surrender!

The PC works perfect as tested with 2 Acer monitors and 1 Samsung monitor.
Just connecting the HDMI cable and that's it.

The monitor works with 2 other Lenovo PCs.
Just connecting the HDMI cable and that's it.

My Pc + my Monitor = failure...
