Re: Unable to use the onekey rescue system

OKR won't work with a clean install.  It's designed to work with the Lenovo Preload.

The recovery discs install extra partitions which include the recovery image, drivers, and then allows you to use OKR to recover the system to factory specs. or recover from a backup.

Re: Unable to use the onekey rescue system

Nope, it won't work with a clean install, only with the recovery discs.

Re: Unable to use the onekey rescue system

If you want all the stuff that the preload puts on there, including OKR, then you would have to make a call to service and get yourself a set of restore discs.

If you like the way your clean install works and runs, then you can go into Control Panel, Backup and Restore, and save a system image to external media and burn yourself a system repair disc. Doing that will at least give you a backup incase something happens to your system or hard drive.
