Upgrading RAM for Lenovo Ideapad G710 59410273

2014-05-27, 10:33 AM

Hello. I have a Lenovo Ideapad G710 59410273 and I'm interested in upgrading the ram. I have read that it's possible for me to upgrade the ram to 16GB. I wan't to know if that is possible to do on my specific laptop? If it is, what kind of ram should I buy?

hi novouser14,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Yes, your system can run up to  Up to 16GB DDR3 1600 MHz, 2 SODIMM slots

Possible Combination of module

1 x 2GB

2 x 2GB

1 x 4GB

1 x 2GB + 1 x 4 GB

2 x 4GB

1 x 8GB

2 x 8GB

Identical RAM module speed and frequency is suggested for Dual Channel

Regards
