When buying this laptop, merchant told me that hard drive replacement do not cause warranty conditions violation, but I won't be able to do it without tearing off Lenovo label I guess. As far as I know the label must be intact to send the keep the warranty, so I wonder if I got cheated.
Sorry if that's a wrong place for this threat, I couldn't find appropriate.

You're right. Some stores put a warranty sticker on the screws slots that even a sign of tear will void the warranty but this isn't the case for the IdeaPad G510.
Looking at page 38 of the HMM, the compartment cover can be removed by taking out two screws underneath the battery bay area.
From here you can easily remove and upgrade the HDD.
In an event you need the take the unit for warranty service, you will need to put back the original components of the machine.
