I recently did a clean install of Windows 8.1 on my Lenovo G50-45 and I'm wondering which drivers I need to install and how I can access them?
When viewing my Device Manager, the 4 yellow exclamation errors I'm seeing are for the following:
1. Network Controller
2. PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller
3. Unknown device
Since it was a clean install, I'm wondering if there are drivers I may need in addition to the ones shown in the Device Manager. For example, when I push the brightening/dimming function on the keyboard, nothing happens. The volume function works, but I have no tried playing music or listening to anything to test it.
I tried searching for the drivers on the Lenovo site, but may have the incorrect Serial number, as no results come up. I purchased the laptop from a previous user, so they may have attached the incorrect Serial number.
Any help would be appreciated so I can set up my laptop.

Hi KayRungRang ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
You can start first with verification of your system machine number using the Serial number to get the compatible drivers.
Try to turn on using the novo button to access the Novo Menu for the BIOS set up general information page.
This would have the systemboard SN (keep it confidential) and use it on parts look up to get the MTM .
The support site would be able to offer corresponding driver as similarly Windows 8.1 would offer drivers native inbox drivers on its owwn when you do the Windows update . Likewise going directly using the hardware ID from specific manufacturer can be an option like chipsets , network LAN and wireless LAN drivers and intel utilities.
After which we can proceed step by step as we uncover each.
Take time to review highlighted link for reference.
Update us soon as convenient.

Thank you for your response. I was able to easily locate my serial number from your description.
I looked up the Hardware Id under the "Network Controller" to see which driver I needed. The part number is: \ven_168c&dev_0036&SUBSYS_402617AA&REV_01. When I find drivers, it seems like they are all for the Windows 8.1 (64-bit) OS. I did a clean install with the Windows 8.1 (32-bit). When I try to install the drivers I found, I get a message saying that I don't have the right hardware for that driver.
Do you think I need to change the version of Windows 8.1 from my 32-bit to 64-bit to be able to install the drivers? I am also only seeing drivers on the Lenovo website for Windows 8.1 64-bit.

I was able to install every driver without having to update to Windows 8.1 (64-bit). The only driver I can't seem to find is one that is compatible for my screen brightness settings. The one on the Lenovo site only provides a driver for the 64-bit version. Do you know of any drivers that I can try to install?
